About

The Oregon Lavender Association was formed in January 2008 by the steering committee of the Oregon Lavender Festival. Having conducted a successful and growing lavender festival each summer since 2000, we recognized that a formal organization was needed to provide information for lavender growers in Oregon, promote understanding about lavender to the general public, to support the promotion of lavender as a viable, thriving agri-business in Oregon, and to support Oregon lavender growers in their efforts to grow successful lavender-based businesses. We decided to establish 501(c)(5) horticultural non-profit organization to further these goals.
